New: From the 2010-2011 academic year of secondary school students will not use textbooks, they will use computers (netbooks).
Netbooks are a category of small, lightweight, and inexpensive laptop computers. I’m sure that this type of computer is an important advance, but I don't agree with the decision of the Catalonian’s Government. I think that books are better than computer. Everybody knows that if you are always watching a computer screen you will lose a little bit of your sight, you will become a little bit blind before a person who doesn’t use computers very often.
I know the computer is cheaper than the books, but if we continue like this, in the end the new adolescents won’t know the handwriting. I think it’s a big problem. Handwriting has always worked, why have we had to change it? I’m sorry but I don’t want that my daughter can’t write by hand.
Possibly I’m radical, but every time I think about it I’m increasingly sure that I'm right.
New:'It has been decided that the match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will be played at the Camp Nou on Monday 29th of November, at 9 PM.

The match should be played in the weekend, but the 28th of November there are the Catalonian elections, and politicians arn't stupids, and they know that for people, the most interesting matter is the football match between FC Barcelona and Madrid.
The match will be played here, in Barcelona. This event will desconcentrate the people, and the piliticians know it. But, why the match has to be postponed and not the elections?
I think the politicians do what they want.. and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it.
This is out of respect for the people who will be working to bring the results of the Catalonian elections (and not to steal the thunder of said elections, I suppose), and because Saturday 27th was nixed by Barça because it was too soon after the CL game against Panathinaikos.
I usually go to sleep at 12 o’clock more or less and my alarm wake me up at 6:50 in the morning so I only can sleep seven hours. And sometimes I sleep fewer hours because I can’t sleep. I began to think of my problems or if I have an exam I think of it, and I can’t sleep. I think I have a small problem.
I remember that one day I couldn’t sleep. I don’t know way. I was so stressed because I couldn’t sleep and I began to cry. I went to my parents’ room; I think it was at 4 o’clock on the morning. They tried to calm me, but I couldn’t stop to cry. Finally I got to sleep at six o’clock. This day I didn’t go to school.
It hasn’t happened another time, but I’m a little bit afraid because it’s possible that this experience comes again.

The first think I do when I wake up is to get dressed. The clothes aren’t a worry for me. Then I have breakfast, normally I drink a glass of milk with biscuits. I spend thirty minutes for do this.
Finally, I prepare the rucksack, I put on my make up and I go to school by motorbike. Normally I arrive late at school (I know it is a problem for the teachers, I’m sorry :))
I spend the day at school and when I arrive at home I have lunch and then I watch TV. I can’t live without TV.
At five o’clock I began to do the homework. I start early because the majority of days I have a lot of homework.
When I finish it I have dinner, and if I finish earlier I watch TV (again). After the dinner, I usually go to the computer. I go to the facebook and I listen to music.
Her name is Lydia. She is my best friend in class.
Las year, she was only my classmate. I didn’t talk a lot because I sat with Andrea all the course and Lydia sat with Clara.
We were friends and we went out at nights with the same gang of friends, but we weren’t much friends.
This year is different.
At the end of 4th of ESO Lydia and I knew that we would be at the same class in batxiller so we began to spend more time together.
The first class’ day we sat together because our best friends were in the other class and Lydia was the girls that I knew most.
Now I laugh a lot when I’m with her, we always say silly things but we laugh a lot. Especially in Maths’ classes, we do a lot of stupid things; if you see us I would think that we are crazy. I don’t know why it happens in Maths… the subject makes us crazy.
Sometimes, we began to sing the same song at the same time, it’s incredible! We are brain-connected.
She becames desperate in Physics and I calm her, and I became desperate in Biology and she calms me. And in Chemistry, Lydia and I became desperate ( the teacher doesn’t listen to us).
Out of the high school, I have gone to her house many times and she has gone to my home too. We talk about the high school and also we about our loves (but I can’t say it, I’m sorry).
I remember that this quarter we have studied by telephone! Jajajaja We have our own style.
Now, we go out together and I spent the most part of the night with her. She takes care of me and I take care of her. We form a very good team!
I don’t know what would I do if Lydia wasn't with me.
I consider myself a normal music listener. I like all kinds of music. Pop, reage, rap, house, including opera. There are many operas that I love listen to. For example, Turandot, I hope one day I will see it in the Barcelona’s Lyceum. My mum and I love this opera.
Other types of music: Pop is the music that I like most, I always listen to it, every day. The singers that I like most are Rihanna, 30 seconds to mars, Katy Perry and The Script. A lot of people loves Lady Gaga, but I think that she only wants to be center of attention, the focus.
Rihanna is the best singer for me. A like all the songs she has created. Umbrella, Russian Roulette, Love the way you lie (feat Eminem), Only girl… Only girl is the best song. One month ago I listen to it for the first time on the radio. At first I thought that Rihanna had done better songs, but I started to listen to the song at home and every time I listened to it I like most. Now I’m singing that song every moment.
I love go to pubs and discos because they play pop music and I can dance. For example, I can’t dance reage or rap, I don’t know how do it. My brother started to listen to reage and rap two or three years ago. He always listen music on mornings so I woke up with the song. It isn’t a bad form of wake up. I like it. I remember that I was in the bed, listening to my brother’s music and I was happy because I liked the music.
House.. is different. I like listen rap, but only one or two songs. I can’t listen one hour of house. It’s impossible for me!
I need listen to music to disconnect and forget my problems. It's a great remedy.
Thirteen it's a film that shows the influence of bad companies. It shows how a normal and hard-working girl can change for the influence of bad companies or for pretend to became popular.
It also shows the relations of a family. People have to accept that the adolescents need their space to be alone and think about theirs problems. The parents have to accept it and accept that the adolescents aren't children. It's important to say that the film teacho that a family has to be united.
The book of Adrian Mole is more infantile than the film. In my opinion, the film is realer. Adrian and the protagonist of the film have more or less the same age, but Adrian is still a child. It's possible that I think that because in the book, the pictures aren't very realist.
But if I think in the problems, Adrian and the film's protagonist have the same problems. They want to be handsome, a boy/girlfriend and they have got problems at home. The argument is a little bit similar.
Many differences: Adrian isn't become a bad boy like the film's protagonist. And he doesn't skive from school. He continues his school life. Also, a boy maltreat him at school, it don't happen in the film. The film's protagonist begin to take drugs and to drink. I'm sure that Adrian don't know its meaning.
I like more the film because it has impacted me. I have saw what can do the bad influences. I wouldn't like to finish like the film's protagonist. I'm lucky because my friends are good people and I think I don't have to be worried about that.
Every year, at the end of October, Girona organizes a big party that lasts two weeks long. At the first week, there are four days with concerts, and the last week there are three days.
This year, like the lasts two years, I have gone there twice. The first and the second Saturday.
The first day we were a lot of people. We went there by bus, but we separated of the group because we went to prepare the drink (shhhht, this is a secret). After a short while we found the rest of he group and we stay with him.
Now, I’m going to talk about my night.
When I met the others I passed a lot of time with them. We found a great place and we stay there all the night. I was talking to the others, and suddenly we were only five people. The other had disappeared. We didn’t get worried and we continued having fun. That night I drunk too much, I admit it. We came back home by bus and I wasn’t a person at this moment. I passed all the way sleeping. The next day I promised that I won’t drunk such the last day.
And I carried out that promise. The next Saturday I went to Girona again, but I didn’t prepare any bottle. I only had 10 €. The night was great, with less people, but it was great. I met a lot of friends there. From Roses, from Figueres, from Girona, they were people that I didn’t see a lot of times.
That night I also met new people and now I continue talking with them.
I didn’t drunk a lot so I remember all the night.. but I can’t say the same of the first night.
I have learnt a lesson, you enjoy more a party without get drunk. I will apply this lesson.
Once upon a time in Violet Hill, a city near Eldeerforest, there was a princess called Lady Serena. She was a very selfish person and she never helped anybody. It was winter and Violet Hill was snowed, Lady Serena was annoyed with her father because he preferred to spend money on poor people in Violet Hill instead of buy her another horse. She ran to the forest crying. She walked in the forest for a while and then she noticed that she was lost. She tried to find the way but she couldn’t find it. She became hungry and when she saw two mushrooms next to a tree she ate them. She didn’t know that the mushrooms were hallucinogenic. She sat on the ground and after a short time she began to hear voices saying:
-Serenaaaaaa, Serenaaaaaaaaaaaa. Come here Serenaaaaaaaaaa.
She was wondering but then she followed the voice. She started to see things that they hadn’t been there before. She continued walking until she arrived to a pink lake. The lake, the trees, the plants, the flowers, the sky, everything was pink. Serena was wondered about that, she was hearing the voice but there wasn’t anyone. Suddenly a pink fairy appears. She was a little bit fat, short with long pink hair. She walked to Serena and when she was walking the flowers next to her began to move and grow up.
-Serena- she said. - Why don’t you come with me and live here? This is a wonderful and beautiful place. You would never be alone because flowers and trees would be your friends. Look, they can talk.
As soon as Serena looked at the flowers, they began to sing. Serena knew the song, it was her favorite song. But Serena didn’t want to live there, she wanted to see her father and she apologized because she missed him.
-I’m sorry – said Serena. - I must go home. I want to be with my family.
-No!- said the fairy- You must be here, I force you to stay here with me. I have waited for this moment for all my life! You can’t go away.
-I’m sorry but this is a silly thing, my father is waiting for me. Good bye.
-NO! Rose, Daisy, catch her!
Suddenly, the two plants wrapped her legs and she fell on the ground. She began to cry.
-You’ll never come back sweet princess. - said the fairy, and she began to laugh.
The fairy’s house was in the middle of the lake. She was taking the princess to her house but before this could happen appeared a blue-green man on a horse. He was accompanied by a rabbit and a fast turtle. The princess saw that they were green!
The man came to the lake with his animals: the rabbit ate Daisy and Rose, and the man took the princess. The fast turtle said to the fairy:
-If you win me in a race we will give you the princess, but if I win you must go away from this forest and you’ll never return.
- Hahahaha, you’ll never win me. You are only a turtle!
They started the race and the fast turtle won. The fairly was very sad and annoyed, but she left the forest forever.
The princess was watching the young man, “he is very handsome” she thought.
-You’re the prince of my dreams! - she said to him.- Thank you for saving me!
-I saw you were in trouble and I had to save you. But I’m sorry, I am not the prince of your dreams, I’m only a poor man who works every day in Violet Hill.I don’t have a lot of money.
-It doesn’t matter, this experience has changed me. You are as important as me. Do you want to meet me in the city?
-Yes, of course! You’re very pretty..
Then the princess felt asleep in his arms. When she woke up she was in her room, and on her right there was a note that said:

Serena and Tom continued meeting for a long time until they married and they lived happily ever after.
Last weekend I saw a film called Closer. It is about a man who knows a girl for accident. A car ran over the girl and the man was near the accident. He took her to the hospital and they fell in love quickliy. The girl, Alice, is very young, but she is a very mature and independent girl. Alice and Dan, the man, go out for a long time, but one day Dan knows Anna. Anna is a photographer, and she is separated. The relationships of two couples become complicated and deceitful when the man from one couple meets the woman of the other.
Alice knows Dan and she see that Dan loves Anna. Alice continues loving Dan but she leave him. Dan tries to go out with Anna, but her exhusband becomes very gelous and he threatens Dan. Dan sees that Anna continues loving her husband although she doesn’t sey anything.
Dan falls in a depression. Anna leaves him and returns with her husband.
Dan, who still loving Alice, tries to go out with her again, but now she is more matrure and she prefers being alone.
Finally, Dan, who loved two girls, ends up alone, without anyone.
It’s a complicate film, and I think that it’s a little bit boring, but there are many scenes that are very romantic and apasionate like the meeting between Dan and Anna. In that scene we can listen a song, it’s a very nice song. Now I can’t stop to sing this song. It’s called The blower’s daughter, by Damien Rice.
The end of the film, in my opinion, is great. Dan has lied and has play with Anna and Alice, he should be alone earlier. At first, he seems the perfect man, but he hurts the two women and then the film becomes a little bit strange. I supose that I don't understant a lot the film becouse I'm too young.
I began to practice snow three years ago. I had skied since I was eight, all my life, but I was bored of skiing. My brother, Oriol, began to snowboarding and he always say to me that snowboard was better than ski. I wanted to try it but my parents didn’t want it because they thought (and they continue thinking it) snowboarders were dangerous. It’s true that snowboarders go down very fast, but they do it because they control their sport. People who practice skiing also go down fast. My brother said to me that the firsts days snowboarding were horrible. He said that he always was falling on his bottom and when he arrived at home he has to have an aspirin.
I continued wanting to snowboard after the experiences of my brother. I’m very stubborn.
In second of ESO we were to ski three days. These days I took advantage of the journey and I tried to snowboard. At the end of the first day I didn’t feel my bottom, but I had enjoyed a lot that day. The two days after I continued snowboarding and I was starting to fall in love with it. When I arrived at home I told my parents my experiences and they had to accept that I prefer snowboard than ski.
My family and I go often to ski so I have continued practicing snowboard. One year, a few days before Christmas, I arrived to home and my brother said: - Núria, els reis mags han arrivat abans d’hora, ves a la teva habitació. (Núria, the magic kings have arribed early, go to your room) I didn’t understand what was he saying but I went to my room. When I went in I saw a precious snowboard. My brother had bought it for my! I was very very very very exciting! That year I went to snow with MY snowboard, it was great.
I’m wishing that the winter arrives to go to the mountains, I’m becoming nervous and stressed because the winter won’t arrive until two months!
In this oral exposition I’m going to talk about volleyball.
Volleyball is an indoor sport. In volleyball there are two teams of six players that are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points. To score one point the team must pass the ball over the net and the ball must touch the floor of the opponents’ court. There are a lot of rules but now I won’t begin to explain them. There are four main parts in volleyball. 1- The serve. It’s the first attack, you have to pass the ball to the opponents’ court. 2- The reception. The reception consists in make that the ball doesn’t touch the floor after the opponents’ serve. 3- The set. The setters are people who have the second touch. (In volleyball we only can touch three times the ball.) After the reception. 4- The attack. In volleyball the most of the points are done with spikes. 5- Block. The block tries to stop the spike when it is still in the attacking court. These are the most important parts of a match. Matches --> The team that wins the volleyball match is the first team who arrives to win three sets of twenty-five point.
ME AND VOLLEYBALL
I began to play volleyball eight years ago. I started playing volleyball because I was vary lazy and I thought that in volleyball people doesn’t run so much. Now I’m addicted to it. I play volleyball every time I can.
My first team was A.V. Esplais. I played six years there and I learnt the basics things there. In Esplais we were sixteen players, we were too much players, then we did two teams. Many girls didn’t want to separate the team so they left the team. Finally in Esplais there was five players, we weren’t enough to create a team so, four girls (I included) left Esplais and we went to Vilajuiga’s team. There we met a lot of friendly girls but there was two girls that were problematic. In matches there were a lot of shouts between us.
This year, Sandra and I have gone to Olot’s team. We knew the trainer because he was our teacher in Primary School. In Olot the girls are very nice and there I play in another league, I play in the highest league, in First Division. I know Olot is far away from Castelló, but I have free transport and I have time for study for my exams. I’m happy to play in Olot.
My position in volleyball is called LIBERO. I can’t serve, attack or block. I only can do reception, dig or set. I’m glad to be libero, I like it.

I think my oral presentation could be better. I was very nervous because speak oraly when all the class is watching me.. is difficult for me. The powerpoint, I think it was ugly if I compare it with the others. Maybe other oral presentations are better than my oral presentation, but I think my oral presentation was enough good. I know myself and.. talk oraly is a vert¡y big problem for me.
This Sunday, 7 November 2010 came in Catalonia The Pope of Rome. On Saturday 6 October The Pope of Rome was sanctified in Galicia the Santiago de Compostela cathedral. Later, in the evening, the Pope took a plane that took him to El Prat airport. By downloading, the President of Generalitat of Catalonia and other senior officials received him. The next Sunday, Benedict XVI sanctified the Holy Family. In the celebration there were a lot people from Catalonia, from other parts of Spain and from other countries. It wasn't the fisrt time thet the Pope came to Catalonia, twenty-five years ago (approximately) he also came here.
My opinion about his visit.
For me, his visit is an indifferent thing of my mind.. I’m not agree, but I'm not in disagree.
For one part I have to be agree with his visit because many people became very happy. I wasn't very happy because I consider myself a non-believer, but not everyone is like me. Another advantage of having the Pope here to see the Sagrada Familia is that his visit will make that the Sagrada Familia is known worldwide. There will come more tourists and for a city like Barcelona (who needs tourists a lot)it is a very good new. Also, his visit has mobilized many people these days there were a lot of tourists in Barcelona.
The bad part of his visit, for example, is that the Catalan government has spent al lot of money (and in our times we need this money) with the hotel for him and all his companions (I'm sure the hotels are the more expensive and the best located in Barcelona), the Pope's car (the papamóbil) and other things.
This summer I have played beach-volleyball almost all the time. Sandra (my friend) and I rode from Castelló to Roses and we met many friends there. We played all the afternoon and when the sun went down we came home. We love doing it!
I play indoor volleyball in winter so I love playing beach volleyball because it's different. I play indoor volleyball nine months a year so playing beach volleyball for three months a year is great! There are some differences between indoor and outdoor volleyball. In beach volleyball you play in nature, you are next to the beach so when you are tired or hot you can go swimming. But beach volleyball also have negative parts, you have less mobility because you run in sand, ant you jump less high.
In indoor volleyball if you sweat, you have to put up with it. Positive parts of indoor voleyball are: - If the weather is very bad you can continue playing volleyball unless the sports center flood. - You have more mobility and you can jump a lot (jump is very important in volleyball).
I think I like more indoor volleyball than beach volleyball, but I love the two types of volleyball. I'm addicted to volleyball! My parents have threaten me many times. They said that if I didn't do a thing they will punish me without volleyball. They have tried to do it, but they know that if I don't play volleyball I'm not the same person. Probably it seems that I'm crazy but volleyball is the most important thing in my life.
